INSPIRATIONAL TALKS

'can service design
change organisations?'
EMPLOYEE-CENTRIC-DESIGN
The Service Design Fringe Festival is the pioneer and main festival in the area in London, UK.
In 2019, under the theme ‘Service design in times of uncertainty’, I was invited to do a Lightening Talk at the Barbican Center to present the main learnings about my project ECD and inspire other practitioners on how service designers can act to implement and encourage organisational change.

USER JOURNEY: TOOLS FOR DESIGNING SERVICES
An exclusive lecture for entrepreneurs from Cubo.Network, the largest centre of technological entrepreneurship in Latin America, conceived by Itaú Unibanco in partnership with Redpoint Ventures.
As part of their UX Meetup, I was invited to talk about User Journey and how start-ups can develop design research and use tools like Service Blueprinting to envision their services.
It was amazing to see how great they connected the exercises with their own start-up challenges and brought back the learnings to adjust their back-stage offerings.

What is happening under our noses right now?
A QUICK DIVE INTO THE FUTURE
After a great immersion in the most recent innovations at TIP-Transdisciplinary Innovation Program in the Start-up Nation (Israel) in 2017, I developed a lecture through the composition of important movements towards the future, gathering the following themes:
-
going transdisciplinary
-
preventive care
-
distributed systems
-
better ageing
-
more time to do good
-
climate change
I believe that by knowing what is happening right now, we could act as co-creators of a better future.

SERVICE DESIGN
FOR START-UPs
In 2018, I was invited to do this talk at TIP - Transdisciplinary Innovation Program at the Hebrew University, in Israel.
Here is an article I wrote after that with some tips. I also developed a workshop of some Service design tools to start creating a design mindset in start-ups.
