PROJECT:
THE QUESTIONS THAT ASIA ASKED ME EXHIBITION
MY ROLE: EXHIBIT IDEALISATION AND PRODUCTION, CONTENT DESIGNER
THE CHALLENGE
In 2012, while I was completing my Master program in Semiotic Psychoanalytic, I did a live-changing trip to Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam.
With the intention of putting in practice and presenting to a broader public the theoretical concepts of Psychoanalysis and Semiotics, but also some metaphorical questions I had experienced while visiting those exciting foreign countries and cultures, I idealised and produced a personal exhibition.
THE PROCESS
In order to do that, I collaborated with professors from my program and with professionals from Photography, gathering tips and recomendations. I engaged with with Casa Amarela, a new cultural venue in Sao Paulo, where also the Xingu Museum is placed, to do the exhibition.
OUTCOMES
I was happy to be released on the Media as an exhibition 'that brings a fresh perspective' and 'cult photography' into discussion (as you can see in the bottom of this page).
We have also great interest from people that participated in the workshops and got emotional about the whole experience of the exhibition.
